The birth of a child is an incredibly special and momentous occasion that cannot go by without some form of recognition. There are lots of different kinds of gifts that you can present to the parents of the new arrival in the wake of the birth, but it is always a nice touch for those gifts to have a personal element to them. With this in mind, what could be more fitting than gifts which have actually been personalised with the newborn’s name?
The new parents will have painstakingly chosen a name for their new baby and to see it embroidered onto personalised gifts will bring the enormity of the occasion into perspective for them.
There are a number of personalised baby gifts to choose from online, including blankets and comforters, but for something really touching, a personalised birth certificate holder really fits the bill. The certificate can be treasured as a memento of the birth with this handy trinket.
Why not accompany it with a personalised baby photo album? The baby is sure to draw lots of attention and will no doubt be photographer throughout his or her infancy, and a special album can help bring all of those memories together.

When you have young children, one of the most delightful things about it is to revel in the whims and caprices of their imaginations, indulging in their naïveté and innocence. Whilst children these days are often a little more savvy and worldly wise than in more innocent times, there are still old traditions that have carried on into the modern era that it would be a travesty to see disappear.
One of these traditions is the legend of the tooth fairy. The tooth fairy has been a part of young children’s lives in the UK for decades and has eased the potential trauma of losing teeth for countless kids. We all know the story. A child loses a tooth which they are then advised to place underneath their pillow for the tooth fairy. In the morning the tooth is gone and a coin has been left in its place. It is hard to describe how it feels for a parent to see their child go through the same excitement they went through as a child upon the tooth fairy’s visit.
You can make the moment even more special by a set of personalised tooth fairy letters, with a message thanking your child for the tooth from the very fairy herself. These are available in both blue and pink for boys and girls.

Running a bar or a pub often requires a large number of people to work together to provide the best service possible. Nevertheless, the nature of the business, and the demographic of people who tend to make up the part time work force therein, means that there is quite often a high turnover of staff. People come and go and it is hard for other members of staff to keep track, even if the management are well aware of their staffing situation.
This is where a uniform of some kind can come in extremely handy. In a busy public house, without some form of uniform, it is difficult to tell the difference between staff and customers, something which can frustrate those who are serving and the punters who are waiting for food and drink.
Your uniform does not have to be anything extravagant – embroidered polo shirts would be enough to highlight who is staff and who isn’t. A polo shirt embroidered with the name of the bar or pub immediately reveals your staff to each other and to customers. It is also nice to be able to promote the establishment if staff are occasionally seen out and about before or after a shift wearing a shirt featuring its name.

When you have occasion to invite people to an event of some kind, it is very often something that you are extremely proud of. No doubt you will be spending lots of time on your arrangements, whatever the nature of the event.
One thing that you ought not to forget is your invitations. Whilst you can try and invite people over the phone and face to face, invitations offer you a much more organised approach that will prevent you from fretting about the number of guests you can expect to receive on the day or night of the event.
You can draw up a list of guests and send personalised invites out to them with an RSVP slip attached. If you encourage your potential guests to respond then you will have a much better idea of who you need to cater for. They also add a wonderful personal touch to the invitation process, with relevant pictures and wording incorporated into them.
You will find personalised invite cards for all manner of events, from weddings and civil partnerships, to christenings, retirements and birthday parties. The cards feature different designs depending on the kind of occasion you are planning for and you are sure to find something suitable at a reasonable price.

Children have amazing imaginations and it is always best to encourage them. They will lap up any kind of story, no matter what medium it is told through – television shows, cartoons, comic books, children’s stories, nursery rhymes, fairy tales – kids are thoroughly taken in by all of them, and this is partly because they like to imagine themselves being part of such a story.
If this is the case with your children and you want to encourage them in this regard, then you can make story time even more fun by buying them a book in which they are the main character.
These books make up one of the best little personalised gifts for a child. The story will already have been written, with a little boy or a little girl taking the lead role in the events that take place, but when you make your order, you can add your child’s name to the character.
Your children will love to hear the story being read, following it with the help of the illustrations in the book, picturing themselves as the heroes and heroines of the action. They also make great, nostalgic family mementoes when your children have grown up.

Corresponding with people through letters is something of a dying a trend faced with the convenience of email and text messaging as means to stay in touch. However, there are those who lament the passing of the letter and who would strive to keep it alive if they had others to correspond with.
A great gift for lovers of the written word is a personalised stationery set. You can design a specific letterhead and select from a range of colours in order to tailor the stationery set to your friend’s liking. What would make it an even better gift is if you were to invest in your own personalised stationery set so that you could send letters between one another regularly and revive the tired trend of letter-writing.
A stationery set will generally come equipped with all you need to get started on letter correspondence, including attractive, good quality paper, matching envelopes and correspondence cards. All of these materials come with an attractive little box in which to keep them all together.
A personalised stationery set can really help to bring you closer to your friends, as letters are so much more personal than many of the modern forms of communication.

It is always nice and it is always noticed when someone gets a little bit creative with their gifts on occasions such as birthdays, Christmas, anniversaries and any other occasion.
With this in mind, personalising gifts adds a little bit of edge to your presents, not to mention displaying a little more originality and thoughtfulness than people often manage. When you are buying a personalised gift, it is often best to base your decision on a photograph, since most of these items will incorporate a picture into their design in order to make is personal at all.
Personalised jigsaws are a really fun option, because the picture you have selected to personalise the gift with will not fully appear until the jigsaw is complete. That way you will be able to have a bit of fun with the recipient of your gift before they finally see the image you consider to be emblematic of your relationship, or a good enough representation of the good times you might have had together.
The jigsaws are available in a variety of sizes, from 30 piece options right up to 130 piece options. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, a heart-shaped jigsaw of a photo of you and your loved one would be a great gesture.

These days, computers are a fixture in almost every modern home and have become as essential an appliance as telephones and televisions. We spend so much time on our computers - both at home and at work - that it is nice to be able to personalise your machine to make it feel a little less like a chore to use.
Your home computer in particular ought to have a less technical, less formal feel about it. After all, you use your home computer for recreational things, like watching videos, listening to music, playing games and communicating with friends and family via online chat and social networking sites.
A great way to personalise your computer desk at home is by buying a few personalised accessories to liven it up. Of these, the most obvious is the personalised mouse mat, which actually comes with a few different options.
Standard mouse mat
These simply constitute an ordinary mouse mat personalised with a photo of you, your family or something you like.
Optical photo mouse mat
These are designed specifically for use with an optical mouse – the variety of mouse most often found nowadays. Again they are personalised with a photo.
Optical wrist rest mouse mat
If you use your computer a lot then you are at risk of repetitive strain injury, so a wrist rest attached to your personalised mouse mat is a sensible option to go for.

If you’re looking for a gift that is a little off the wall and perhaps more original than the usual tokens that get exchanged on birthdays and Christmasses, then it is well worth considering something personalised in order to be more unique.
Mugs are common gifts, often as souvenirs from places you have visited, and they can become a little tiresome to receive. However, a mug that is personalised with a picture gives the gift a whole new outlook.
If you decide to buy a personalised mug for someone then think carefully about the picture you will personalise it with. A picture of them is obviously a good idea. It is also very useful, especially in shared housing like student halls, or at work, where they will always be able to identify their own mug from the masses in the cupboard.
A picture of yourself would be a cheeky option and a photo of your entire group of friends or family together would be a nice gesture.
If simply buying a mug as a personalised gift is not quite enough for you, then why not invest in a magic photo mug? These mugs feature the same picture you have selected, but it only gradually appears when hot liquid is poured inside.

Sometimes you just can’t resist the temptation to treat and spoil your dog, but doing that through food – something they will always appreciate – is not always the healthiest way to indulge them. Dogs have fragile digestive systems and have to be kept on a very strict diet, so it’s prudent to find other ways of treating them.
A great way of spoiling your dog is to invest in some personalised pet products for them. There is a wide range of pet gifts available online, so next time you get the urge to give them a present, just log on and give them a browse.
Personalised dog leads
Particularly around Christmas time you can’t help but feel that your dog gets left out of the present giving. Rectify this with a brand new lead with their name on it.
Personalised dog collars
Getting your dog’s name embroidered on their collar is a nice touch. If you have a number of dogs, then it also helps you determine which collar belongs to which pet when you wash them.
Dog tags
These often include your pooch’s name too. Dog tags have the added benefit that they can include contact details in case your dog ever went missing for any reason. Anyone finding the dog can then get in touch and let you know they are safe.
