Label your child’s footwear for when they go back to school

It’s time to go back to school and it may be that your child received some new clothes over the Christmas period. Children are prone to losing belongings while at school, so why not label them to prevent them from being lost?

Shoe labels can come in handy. While your child is unlikely to lose their school shoes between maths class and history, on days when they have PE, they might lose a shoe or a boot or a trainer.

Shoe labels go inside the shoe and are robust enough to withstand daily wear and tear. Affixed with strong adhesive, they can also be used on lunch boxes and similar items. The text added to the label can be two lines long and there is space for 16 characters on each line.

For other clothes, you can also get name tape and clothing labels. These should give you peace of mind, ensuring that no clothes go astray. A self-inking clothing marker comes with reusable letters so that you can personalise your stamp. The washable fabric dye should last for a number of washes.

In a year which has been a little tough on businesses to say the least, it’s a nice idea to try and lighten the mood during the festive season.

While fancy dress days and Christmas songs in the office, can all help to add a little Christmas cheer, it’s the smaller touches which can make all the difference.

So this Christmas time, add a bit of festive sparkle to your business by investing in Christmas address labels.

Address labels have always been vital to any business because they ensure that your parcels and letters are delivered to the correct address and can also ensure that they are sent back to you if there is any trouble getting them to the intended destination.

But by simply adding a festive picture to your address labels, you can easily put a smile on the recipients face. And when the recipient will usually be a customer or client, this is all the more important.

By using Christmas address labels you are adding the personal touch to your correspondence and helping to create a good relationship between you and your customers or clients.

After such a tough year, it’s good to be able to put a smile on all your workers’ and customers’ faces. And with Christmas address labels, you can do just that.

Address labels are not always looked upon as exciting accessories, but with a bit of personalisation, they can become just that.

Address labels have always been essential for businesses across the country. They give off a professional image and they also ensure that letters and parcels are delivered correctly.

As well as standard address labels and roll labels, there are plenty of other types to choose from. You can get your hands on all sorts of designs including fun, practical and professional address labels.

For example, if you want to add a personal touch to your letters and envelopes then you can choose heart shaped labels personalised with your own message. These are great for is you are sending post to close friends and family members.

But for professional needs, you can also choose to have a label featuring your business address as well as a picture to represent your company.

And for the children, there are even different shaped labels. They can use these labels to mark their belongings in a more fun way. Boys can choose a car or snail shaped label for example, or perhaps a girl would prefer a star or heart shaped personalised label.

With Christmas just around the corner there is also the chance to choose address labels with Christmas designs. With all of this choice, it is obvious that address labels can actually be exciting accessories.

Iron on name tapes are the perfect back to school accessory

If you have children, you will be well aware how often they return from school with clothing that does not belong to them. After playing P.E, children are always in a rush to get dressed so often pull on the nearest shirt or jumper which is often not their own. So, what can we do to make their clothes instantly recognisable? If you use clothing labels on your children’s clothes they will be instantly identifiable, removing the problems of your children bringing home the wrong clothes and retrieval of lost items.

There are now many different ways you can mark your children’s clothes with names. The traditional method is with sew-on name tapes but you can now use iron-on name tapes, clothing markers and fabric stamps.

Iron-on name tapes are a brilliant way you can make your children’s clothes recognisable. You can buy these tapes pre-printed with your children’s name and then all you have to do is simply iron the tape onto the back of your child’s tie, the inside of their shirt or on the inside neck of their jumper. The tape will not peel or fade and they are really easy to iron on so they can be attached really quickly.

As half term comes to a close, the children are all getting geared up to go back to school. Their school uniforms are hanging up ready, their bags are all packed and they have already decided what they’re having in their packed lunches.

But how long will they last without losing a shoe, a jumper or a flask? It can be so frustrating to have to go shopping every weekend to replace the items lost somewhere in the abyss of the school cloakroom.

But there is something you can do to prevent this ongoing battle and that is to label everything.

Nametapes come in various styles, to ensure that you are able to label everything your child owns. For example, you can stock up on sew-on nametapes which are extremely durable and should last for the entire time your child has the garment. Iron-on nametapes are an easier alternative, requiring no sewing at all. And you can even find shoe labels which will ensure that you child is not hopping around with one shoe missing all day after PE lesson.

With nametapes and clothes markers, there is no need to worry about your child’s possessions being lost forever in the mysterious lost property box. So make those back to school times much easier and stock up on labels.

The post can be unpredictable at the best of times. You can go days without receiving a letter and then suddenly, your in tray is overflowing with bulging envelopes and packages.

Sometimes though, there are letters that you never receive. And on occasion, the letters and parcels that you send out to customers, colleagues and other businesses mysteriously disappear.

Sometimes, these instances can be devastating to a business but there is a way to reduce the chances of our post from being misdirected.

A lot of the time, post which does not make it to the correct destination has simply not been addressed correctly. By using address labels, you are ensuring that the address you are sending your post to is clear and easy to read. Not only this, but it also looks a lot more professional than hand written scrawl on the front of the envelope. The other benefit to address labels is that you can also place a label on the back of the envelope displaying your own address. This way, should the letter be undelivered to its destination, it will be redirected back to your own address.

With the help of address labels, your company will not only look professional, but they will ensure that your letters and parcels find their way to the correct destination.
