Keeping business cards simple

February 11, 2010
Posted in Business cards — Written by Beatrice

When it comes to business cards, they need to be smart and snappy. Your business card acts like a portal into your business so they should reflect your work ethic and show that you and the company are professionals.

You need to keep your business card simple. If there is too much information on it, it gets very confusing and unappealing. The last thing you want to do is lose business just because of your business card.

The information you should put on your business card is of course your name, your position within the company, your contact details and of course the name of the company that you work for. On the reverse, it is advisable to use the company name and logo if possible.

You want your potential new business associates to remember you and your business card long after you have given it to them. If there is too much information to decipher then they will lose interest very quickly and you definitely won’t be getting any business from them. This might sound a bit harsh but that is how businesses work and you need to be on top of your game if you are to succeed.
